Nous sommes dans un grand bâtiment.
We are in a large building.
Le bâtiment où nous sommes est une école, et la salle est une classe.
The building where we are is a school, and the room is a class.
Elle est vaste, parce que vous tes nombreux.
It is vast, because there are many of us.
Je suis le professeur.
I am a professor.
Jean, tu es un élève.
John, you are a pupil.
Je suis sur une chaise.
I am on a chair.
Tu es sur un banc, Charles et Henri aussi ; mais ils sont derriere.
You are in a bench. Charles and Henri too; but they are behind.
Tu es sur le premier banc, ils sont sur le second. Un élève est debout.
You are on the first bench, they are on the second. A pupil is standing.
L'élève debout est Georges.
The pupil who is standing is George.
II est devant le tableau.
He is before the table.
Le tableau est contre le mur.
The table is against the wall.
II est entre la porte et la fenetre, La craie et l'éponge sont aupres.
It is between the door and  the window. The chalk and the duster are together.
Elles sont sur le rebord.
They are on the edge.
La craie est derrière l'éponge.
The chalk is behind the duster.
